About the previous Event NEWBIZ BUSINESS WOMEN SUMMIT AND AWARDS 2021
New Business Age Pvt. Ltd. organized ‘NewBiz Business Women Summit & Awards, 2021’ for the first time in 2021. Spread across almost two years (2020 and 2021), the event had two parts; the first part was a full-day training program for business women on entrepreneurship and financial literacy at ten different centers of the country- Biratnagar, Birtamode, Birgunj, Janakpur, Hetauda, Narayangarh, Butwal, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara. The programs were participated in by about 2,000 women entrepreneurs.
The second and final part was the Women’s Summit and Awards where leading businesswomen and professionals from various sectors participated in a panel discussion on the topic ‘Promoting Women Entrepreneurship: Policies and Practices’. It was followed by the awards distribution ceremony. It took place at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu on January 29, 2021.
The Event had the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) as an Associate partner. Likewise, the title sponsor was Standard Chartered Bank Nepal. Furthermore, Muktinath Development Bank, Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN), various district chambers, Sitaram Gokul Milks, Star Hospital, Nimbus Group (cuisine), Progressive Finance, and Reliable Insurance were other partners.
